These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and ProFeeder LLC ("ProFeeder," "we," "us," or "our"), the company behind ProFeeder.ag, governing your use of the ProFeeder app and website (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
ProFeeder is a show-pig management tool that lets you track animals, weights and average daily gain, rations and feed, shows and target weights, health records and schedules, and photos — and optionally share that information with parents, coaches, teachers, or breeders. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password secure. Provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it current.
Minors. ProFeeder is commonly used by 4-H, FFA, and youth exhibitors. If you are under the age of 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent, guardian, teacher, or club leader, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for the account.
3. Subscriptions & billing
ProFeeder offers a free tier and paid auto-renewable subscriptions — Basic and Pro, available monthly or yearly. Paid features and animal limits unlock while a subscription is active. The subscription name, length, and price are shown in the app at the point of purchase before you confirm. Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play and are subject to the following terms:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Your subscription automatically renews at the then-current price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Renewal charge. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Managing & cancelling. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings after purchase. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; the remainder of that period is not refunded except where required by law or store policy.
- Free trials, if offered: any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies; we generally cannot issue store refunds directly.
- Price changes will be communicated as required by the app stores, and where required we will obtain your consent before they take effect.
- If a subscription lapses, your data is retained but features and animal limits revert to the free plan.
4. Your content & data
You keep ownership of the records, photos, and videos you add to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and to the people you choose to share with. You are responsible for the accuracy of Your Content and for having the right to upload it.
5. Account & breeder sharing
The Service lets you invite others to your account and assign breeders to individual animals with view or edit permissions. You control who has access and what they can see, and you can revoke access at any time. You are responsible for the people you invite and for the permissions you grant. Anyone you give edit access to can add or change records in the scope you allow.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of show, fair, or association rules;
- upload content you do not have the right to share, or that is harmful, infringing, or offensive;
- attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization;
- interfere with, overload, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service or its security;
- resell or commercially exploit the Service except as expressly permitted.
7. Feeding & health disclaimer
Not veterinary advice. Rations, average-daily-gain figures, projected weights, pace indicators, and any feed-specialist guidance in the Service are tools and estimates to support your own judgment — not guarantees of results and not a substitute for professional veterinary care.
Growth projections and target-weight calculations are estimates based on the data you enter and will not perfectly predict an animal's actual performance. For any health concern, illness, or medication decision, consult a licensed veterinarian. Feed-specialist consultations (where offered, in partnership with Lindner Show Feeds) provide nutrition and feeding guidance only. You are solely responsible for the care, feeding, and treatment of your animals.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be available or accurate. You are responsible for keeping your own records of important information.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ProFeeder and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, animals, profits, awards, or placings, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses already granted, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
13. Apple App Store & Google Play
These Terms also serve as the end-user license agreement ("EULA") for the ProFeeder application and include the terms below required by the app stores. For an app obtained through a particular store, if these store terms conflict with the rest of these Terms, these store terms control for that store.
- Acknowledgement. These Terms are between you and ProFeeder LLC only, and not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC. ProFeeder LLC — not Apple or Google — is solely responsible for the app and its content.
- License. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on any device you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services / App Store Usage Rules or the Google Play terms. The app is licensed, not sold, to you.
- Maintenance & support. ProFeeder is solely responsible for any maintenance and support for the app. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
- Warranty. ProFeeder is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not validly disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and for apps obtained through the App Store, Apple may refund the purchase price to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding the app.
- Claims. ProFeeder, not Apple or Google, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product-liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer-protection or similar law.
- Intellectual property. If a third party claims the app infringes its intellectual-property rights, ProFeeder — not Apple or Google — is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
- Legal compliance. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist-supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Third-party beneficiaries. You acknowledge that Apple and Google, and their subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that upon your acceptance they will have the right to enforce these Terms against you.
