Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information ProFeeder LLC ("ProFeeder," "we," "us," or "our"), the company behind ProFeeder.ag, collects through the ProFeeder app and website (together, the "Service"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to the ProFeeder apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play and to our website; a summary of our data practices is also available on the App Store "App Privacy" label and the Google Play "Data safety" section. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the Service:

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. You may optionally add a display name.

Information you add to the app

The Service is built to store the records you choose to enter, including: animal profiles (name, breed, sex, ear notch, tag number, birth date, the breeder you list), weight records, feed products and rations, show entries and target weights, health records and treatment schedules, notes, and any photos or videos you upload of your animals.

Sharing information

If you invite another person to your account or assign a breeder to a pig, we store the invitation, who has access, and the permissions you grant (view or edit, and which records they can see).

Purchase information

Subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store and Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status (for example, active or expired) so we can unlock paid features. We never receive or store your full payment-card details.

Device & usage information

We may collect basic technical information such as app version, device type, and diagnostic or crash logs to keep the Service working and to fix problems.

2. How we use information

• To provide the Service — store your records, sync them across your devices and the web, and show your data back to you.
• To enable features you turn on, such as account sharing, breeder access, reminders, and (if you request it) a feed-specialist consultation.
• To process and recognize your subscription.
• To respond to support requests.
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content you enter for advertising.

3. How information is shared

• People you invite. When you share your account or grant a breeder access to a pig, the people you authorize can see the records you allow, with the view or edit permission you choose. You can change or revoke access at any time.
• Feed Specialist (optional). If you submit a feed-specialist consultation, the pig details, photos, and video you include are shared with the specialist (provided in partnership with Lindner Show Feeds) so they can respond.
• Service providers. We share information with the vendors listed below who operate parts of the Service on our behalf.
• Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the Service.

4. Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers, each with their own privacy practices:

• Supabase — secure cloud database, file storage, and authentication.
• RevenueCat — subscription management.
• Apple App Store & Google Play — app distribution and payment processing.

5. Retention & deleting your account

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account from within the app (Profile → Delete Account), which removes your account and the records associated with it. Some information may persist for a limited time in backups or where we are required to retain it by law. To request deletion or a copy of your data, email support@profeeder.ag.

6. Security

We protect your data with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and database access rules that restrict each account to its own data (and to accounts that have explicitly been shared with it). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

7. Students & minors

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child provided us information without your consent, contact us at support@profeeder.ag and we will delete it. Families often share a single account; the account holder is responsible for that account's use.

8. Your choices & rights

• Access & correction. You can view and edit your records directly in the app at any time.
• Deletion. You can delete individual records or your entire account from within the app.
• Sharing. You control who has access to your account and can revoke it at any time.
• Notifications. You can manage reminders and push notifications in the app and in your device settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information. To exercise any of these, contact us.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
